Our Partners
Current Partnerships
For nearly 8 years, LearnUp has partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco to provide reading support to students with unidentified learning challenges who lack access to tutoring services. We’ve supported over 100 students across 11 sites throughout San Francisco, reaching low-level readers during after-school hours. We continue expanding this partnership to serve more struggling readers across BGCSF clubhouses.
LearnUp is partnering with Mission Graduates to provide reading tutoring to middle school students at Bessie Carmichael from 2025 through 2027.
LearnUp has tutored students at Mission High School over the past two year to help ensure that no student in San Francisco graduates from High School without knowing how to read.
LearnUp is going to be serving high-need readers at Mission Dolores Academy this upcoming Fall 2026.
LearnUp is proud to be a trusted partner of the San Francisco Unified School District for 6 years. LearnUp provides compensatory education services to special education students. In addition, LearnUp partners directly with specific sites to offer tutoring services during the school day to elementary, middle, and high school students. LearnUp has served nearly 300 students through these partnership sources.
LearnUp is a vendor to provide Compensatory Education to students for a variety of districts, including but not limited to:
- San Mateo-Foster City School District
- San Jose Unified School District
- Berryessa Union School District
- Cupertino Unified School District
- Cabrillo Unified School District
- Burlingame School District
Past Partnerships
LearnUp has provided support to elementary struggling readers at Moscone Elementary over the past two years, working closely with school staff and families to ensure all Moscone students become confident, independent readers.
Real Options for City Kids worked directly with LearnUp to provide reading tutoring to students in the Bayview area of San Francisco from 2022 to 2025.
Solano Public Library partnered with LearnUp for the Libraries Leading to Reading program for the summers of 2024 and 2025, teaching over 30 elementary students in Solano County how to read.
LearnUp partnered directly with VVMS for the past three years as part of the school’s initiative to prioritize literacy and help students from all communities have equal access to education.
